The Challenge
Most small business owners don't know their website is underperforming. They can't tell if it's slow, poorly optimized for search, or missing critical accessibility standards. Existing audit tools like Lighthouse are too technical for non-developers. There was no simple, visually compelling way to show a business owner 'here's what's wrong and here's how to fix it.'
The Solution
I built Site Autopsy — a free web app that analyzes any URL and generates a Ghost Score from 0 to 100. It crawls the page, scores performance, SEO, accessibility, and design, then presents the results in a clean, shareable report with auto-generated Open Graph images. The tool serves as a lead-generation entry point: business owners see their score, understand the gaps, and can reach out for help fixing them.
