The Challenge
Ed Legg is a world-class wildfowl carver with 30+ Best in Show awards, museum installations, and press features — but no dedicated website. His only online presence was an Etsy shop. He needed a portfolio that conveyed the artistry behind each piece, with high-quality video and imagery for every carving.
The Solution
I built a 19-page Astro site with a warm, woodcraft-inspired design using walnut browns and copper accents. The centerpiece is a gallery with category filtering and a lightbox viewer, plus 11 individual carving detail pages each featuring video walkarounds. A hero video slideshow showcases the work immediately on landing. All purchase CTAs route to his established Etsy storefront, preserving his 5-star review history.
